Lakes lies19 miles northeast from downtown Durango and 6.5 miles north
of Bayfield. Forest Lakes is set in the cool pines overlooking the
beautiful Pine River Valley.
The community includes Lake Simpatico, which offers fishing to
residents, and treed lots with central water and sewer in a rural
setting. A community center and tennis courts add to the amenities
